How do you check if your BlackBerry Z10 & Q10 is network locked?

  • Power off the phone.
  • Remove the battery.
  • Insert a non-supported SIM card and power on the phone.
  • Go to Settings > Security and Privacy > SIM Card.
  • If your handset is locked, you will see a Phone Network Lock message saying The SIM card isn’t compatible with either the network or the device. For assistance contact your service provider.
  • Press Unlock Network.
  • In the SIM Security window, you will get a request saying Enter network unlock code. Contact the original carrier to obtain the code.
  • At the bottom in red font you will see Attempts remaining: [number].
  • Warning: if you have no unlock attempts remaining, it will not be possible to unlock the phone.

How do I Order for an unlocking service?

  • Go to the main page for your phone on unlocknigeria.com
  • Select your phone model
  • Select the network your Blackberry Q10 & Z10 is locked to, if you don’t know it or you are not sure just select “All international(all other country)”
  • Find your phone’s unique IMEI (identification number). To find the IMEI, power on the phone without a SIM card and type *#06# on the keypad.
  • The phone will display the IMEI number.
  • Submit your IMEI to the UnlockNigeria website. Enter only the first 15 digits without spaces or punctuation.
  • Wait to receive your phone’s unique unlock code(s) by email.

How do I input the Unlock code after receiving it?

  • Power off the phone.
  • Remove the battery.
